Adjuvant nivolumab bij het oesofaguscarcinoom of carcinoom van de gastro-oesofageale overgang na neoadjuvante chemoradiatie en resectie
In de Checkmate 577-studie werd een statistisch significante toename van DFS aangetoond bij patiënten met residuele ziekte na chemoradiatie en resectie van een oesophaguscarcinoom met adjuvante behandeling met nivolumab. Deze resultaten voldeden destijds aan de PASKWIL-criteria voor een voorlopig positief advies. Bij herbeoordeling voldoet deze studie niet aan de nieuwe PASKWIL2023-criteria voor adjuvante studies. Mocht in de toekomst een overlevingsvoordeel worden aangetoond, dan zal de studie worden herbeoordeeld.
