Herbeoordeling: Durvalumab met chemotherapie als eerstelijnsbehandeling voor ‘extensive stage’ kleincellig longcarcinoom
In de CASPIAN-studie werd een statistisch significant voordeel aangetoond voor het primaire eindpunt OS van eerstelijns palliatieve behandeling met durvalumab toegevoegd aan chemotherapie ten opzichte van chemotherapie alleen bij patiënten met SCLC-ES (HR: 0,73 [95%-BI: 0,59-0,91]; p = 0,0047) met een verschil in de mediane OS van 2,7 maanden. Bij herbeoordeling van de studie op basis van de staartcriteria wordt een OS-verschil van 11,4% gezien tussen de durvalumabgroep en de controlegroep bij een follow-upduur van 27 maanden waarbij 20,1% van de patiënten in de durvalumabgroep at risk is. Deze uitkomsten voldoen aan de PASKWIL2024-staartcriteria voor een positief advies.
