Perioperatieve chemotherapie met durvalumab bij resectabel adenocarcinoom van de maag of gastro-oesofageale overgang
In de hier besproken MATTERHORN-studie wordt bij patiënten met een lokaal gevorderd resectabel adenocarcinoom van de maag of gastro-oesofageale overgang die perioperatieve chemotherapie met FLOT kregen, na een mediane follow-up van 43 maanden een statistisch significant overlevingsvoordeel gezien waarbij de 3-jaars OS met 6,7% verbeterde door toevoegen van perioperatief durvalumab (HR: 0,78 [95%-BI: 0,63-0,96]; p = 0,021). Dit resultaat voldoet aan de criteria voor een positief advies volgens de PASKWIL2025-criteria voor curatieve behandeling.
