Adjuvant chemoradiotherapie bij hoogrisico-endometriumcarcinoom
De huidige postoperatieve behandeling van hoogrisico-endometriumcarcinoom bestaat uit radiotherapie. In de PORTEC-3-studie werd onderzocht of toevoegen van chemotherapie tijdens en na de postoperatieve radiotherapie invloed had op de OS. In deze studie is het verschil in OS 5,3 procent: 81,4 procent (95%-BI: 77,2-85,8) in de chemo-radiotherapiegroep en 76,1 procent (71,6-80,9) in de radiotherapiegroep (HR: 0,70 [95%-BI: 0,51-0,97]; P = 0,034). Dit verschil is niet statistisch significant. De resultaten van deze studie voldoen niet aan de PASKWIL-criteria voor een positief advies.
