Afatinib als eerstelijns behandeling voor gemetastaseerd EGFR-mutatiepositief niet-kleincellig bronchuscarcinoom
Bij patiënten met een gemetastaseerd NSCLC gekarakteriseerd door een activerende EGFR-mutatie leidt behandeling met afatinib in de eerste lijn tot een significante en klinisch relevante verlenging van de progressievrije overleving in vergelijking met cisplatine-pemetrexed met hanteerbare toxiciteit.
