Docetaxel bij het hormoonrefractair prostaatcarcinoom

Op grond van overlevingswinst (2 respectievelijk 2,5 maanden ten opzichte van behandeling met mitoxantrone plus prednison in twee onafhankelijke fase III-studies) kan worden gesteld dat docetaxel in een driewekelijks schema met lage dosis prednison als een nieuwe standaardbehandeling bij het HRPC kan worden beschouwd.
