Enzalutamide voorafgaand aan chemotherapie bij gemetastaseerd prostaatcarcinoom
De behandeling van CRPC-patiënten middels enzalutamide voorafgaand aan chemotherapie kan volgens PASKWIL-criteria worden beoordeeld. Bij CRPC-patiënten leidt enzalutamidebehandeling voorafgaand aan docetaxel-chemotherapie tot een significante reductie van de kans op radiologische progressie (HR: 0,19; 95% CI: 0,15-0,23; P < 0,001) of overlijden (HR: 0,73; 95% CI: 0,63-0,85; P < 0,001) in vergelijking met placebo. Het Zorginstituut Nederland (ZiNL) heeft enzalutamide voor deze indicatie nog niet beoordeeld.
