Cisplatine in combinatie met topotecan bij gerecidiveerd of gemetastaseerd cervixcarcinoom
De combinatie van cisplatine met topotecan is te overwegen bij patiënten met een gerecidiveerd of gemetastaseerd cervixcarcinoom met goede nierfunctie. Er moet speciale aandacht zijn voor de hoge incidentie van ernstige bijwerkingen. Het meeste effect van de combinatietherapie wordt gezien bij patiënten die nog geen behandeling met cisplatine hebben ondergaan, dan wel een lang therapievrij interval hebben (> 16 maanden).
