Pertuzumab gecombineerd met trastuzumab als adjuvante therapie bij het HER2-positief mammacarcinoom
Bij patiënten met een niet-gemetastaseerd HER2-positief mammacarcinoom geeft adjuvante behandeling met pertuzumab voor de gehele studiepopulatie (zowel bij patiënten met een lymfekliernegatieve als lymfeklierpositieve ziekte) een klein maar statistisch significant verhoogde iDFS na 3 jaar van 94,1 procent in de pertuzumab-groep en 93,2 procent in de placebogroep (HR: 0,81 [95%-BI: 0,66-1,00]; P = 0,045). De data voor OS zijn nog onvoldoende matuur. De resultaten voor de gehele studiepopulatie noch voor de subgroepen (patiënten met lymfeklierpositieve ziekte of HR-negatieve ziekte) voldoen niet aan de huidige PASKWIL-criteria voor adjuvante behandeling voor een positief advies.
