M.A.C.E. van Kats (1984) is sinds november 2020 als internist-oncoloog werkzaam in het Maastricht UMC+. Haar aandachtsgebied is het mammacarcinoom. Van 2017 tot 2018 was ze werkzaam als internist-oncoloog in het Albert Schweitzer Ziekenhuis en van 2019 tot 2020 in het Alexander Monro Ziekenhuis in Bilthoven. Ze volgde de opleiding tot internist-oncoloog in het Erasmus MC in Rotterdam (2010-2017). Sinds eind 2020 is ze lid van de redactieraad van het tijdschrift Medische Oncologie.
